Denise is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and a graduate of Florida A&M University, where she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree. Her 29 years of teaching with the Duval County Public Schools made for a truly rewarding career, refueling her passion to make a positive impact on students and others as she re-joins the DePaul family.
She spent most of her career teaching Health Education and Life Skills at Paxon School for Advanced Studies and Stanton College Preparatory School.
Mrs. Williams hopes to impress upon her students the importance of feeling good about self first, always doing their very best, and realizing it takes the whole person (physical, mental/emotional, social, and spiritual) to be happy, healthy, and successful throughout life.
In her spare time, she enjoys fishing on the beach and spending time with her family: a wonderful husband of 39 years, and their three awesome children.
